Let’s Go To ... Tyrrhena Terra, situated in the highlands just south of the Martian equator, and just north of the massive Hellas impact basin. This ancient area is dominated by rugged terrain including channels, dunes and deep impact craters with elevated central peaks and extremely steep rims. Based on the appearance of the craters, it is likely that the subsurface material in the area is rich in ice and water.

In the view of Derek the Stargazer ... when I hold this mug, it feels like I have something precious in my hands, something that was picked up from the surface of another planet (!) and transported across the vast expanse of space solely for my benefit and enjoyment. Remember, this is a smaller mug with an 11 oz capacity, close to the capacity of a Starbucks “Tall” drink. This mug is dishwasher safe, but I recommend hand washing whenever possible to preserve the priceless Martian snapshot for the longest possible time. It is also microwave safe.
