After a 10 year, 5 billion km (3 billion mile) journey, the New Horizons spacecraft reached Pluto in 2015. It discovered evidence of recent geological activity, which was surprising considering Pluto was thought to be too cold to power such activity. It may be mini in stature, but Pluto’s far out, man!
