Let’s Go To ... Cerberus Fossae, a series of fissures or deformations in the Martian crust caused by the Tharsis volcanoes to the east. NASA’s InSight lander positively identified this area as being tectonically active. Indeed, the original purpose of this MRO image was to aid in the study of Marsquakes. The numerous boulders seen strewn on the floor of the trough (fossa) might be a result of them.
This charming 11 oz White Glossy Ceramic Mug has a colored rim, inside and handle. Let the warmth of your favorite hot refreshment fill your body and spirit as you dream your dreams of the Red Planet. Thanks to NASA/JPL/University of Arizona for providing the striking MRO image.
In the view of Derek the Stargazer ... when I hold this mug, it feels like I have something precious in my hands, something that was picked up from the surface of another planet (!) and transported across the vast expanse of space solely for my benefit and enjoyment. Remember, this is a smaller mug with an 11 oz capacity, close to the capacity of a Starbucks “Tall” drink. This mug is dishwasher safe, but I recommend hand washing whenever possible to preserve the priceless Martian snapshot for the longest possible time. It is also microwave safe.
